Kerez's story

Kerez is 49 and married. Her oldest daughter lives in Bishkek and her other daughters are in school. She has a high school education and has been working in animal husbandry since 2001 as the primary source of income for her family. She has a good understanding of the technical aspects of running an agricultural business and knows how to manage a budget. Thanks to her hard work she currently has four cows, four horses and 20 sheep on her farm, as well as 2 hectares of irrigated land where she grows alfalfa.

With the goal of further developing her farm, Kerez has approached Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 130,000 KGS to buy livestock to increase her income from raising livestock. She plans to put income from the loan into further developing her farm and improving her family's well-being.
