A loan helped to buy cattle to increase income from cattle breeding.

Sveta's story

Sveta, 44 years old, married, has four children. She has a secondary education. She knows the technology of agricultural activities and knows how to invest as intended. She has been involved in animal husbandry as her main income since 1993. Thanks to hard work, her farm today has eight cows, a horse and ten sheep.

In summer, cattle are driven away to pasture. In winter, livestock are kept in their barn. Sveta is harvesting hay for cattle harvest herself. There is 1,6 ha of irrigated land, on which she grows alfalfa. In order to further develop her farm, Sveta applied to Bai-Tushum Bank for a loan of 150,000 soms (KGS) for the purchase of livestock to increase income from livestock raising.

She plans to invest the proceeds from the loan in the further development of her farm and improve the well-being of her family.
