A loan helped to purchase fresh fruit to sell.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

This group is called Mujeres Unidas, which is what they are. They set a goal to grow, not only economically but also as people. In addition, they are a part of the "Poverty Stoplight" program.

One of the members is Maria. She sells fruits. She mentions that she sells in the street. Today, thanks to the fact that she has a good variety of fruit, she has acquired a varied clientele.

She considers herself a person who, despite the daily difficulties, has never been defeated and gives everything in order to achieve her goals and be someone in life.

She asks for this loan to purchase fresh fruit to continue selling as she has been doing. She is grateful for the opportunity to join this group and in this way be able to meet her clients' needs.

The children in the photo are the children of the committee members who signs this loan.
