Region Tupac Group's story

Sofia is the leader and representative of the Communal Bank "Región Tupac", which consists of 11 members who have earned trust and respect. This group is on their 28th loan cycle and they are considered to be responsible and hardworking.

Sofia started cultivating cacao and bananas more than 20 years ago. She is requesting a loan to maintain her parcel of cacao. Sofia plans to fertilizer, weed, and clear brush from the land to improve her productivity.

To earn extra income, she works on other people's land by helping clear brush. Her greatest challenge and wish is to acquire more farmland so that she can achieve greater profitability.

Sofia considers herself to be a cheerful, honest, punctual, responsible, and hardworking person. She has three children. Sofia and her husband have always been able to get ahead.
