Margaritas Del Rosario Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped with the capital she will invest in the purchase of chicks, vaccines, and food to feed the animals.

Margaritas Del Rosario Group's story

For Blanca, 33, it is profitable to maintain the poultry business and instill in her family the importance of generating income through the sale of these animals.

She is the secretary of the Community Bank of Friendship Bridge "Margaritas del Rosario". Blanca is married and has four children, aged 4 to 14 years. The two oldest children attend school. She received only six years of formal education.

Due to the need to support her husband with the feeding and education of her children, Blanca decided to generate her own income through raising chickens. Blanca confidently approaches Kiva lenders to apply for the first loan.

With the white capital, she will invest in the purchase of chicks, vaccines and food to feed the animals. “With the new increase in chickens, I will be generating more profits that I will use to educate my children the following school year,” says Blanca.

Blanca and the other seven women of the communal bank live in the department / state of Suchitepéquez. These women have businesses that include the sale of shoes, prepared food, chicken, seafood, poultry breeding and the sale of vegetables. For Blanca and the rest of her companions, it is very essential to receive training about her health, business, family, and themselves. This learning is thanks to the program of small loans, training, and health services "Microcredit Plus."

Thank you, Kiva lender, for financing these development loans to these women and their families!
