Ian's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy a tuk tuk to reach more customers who could not previously afford clean drinking water.

Ian's story

Ian is a 32 year old Ugandan who has a bachelors degree in Construction Management. He and his brother got interested in the Jibu Franchising business because of its uniqueness in empowering young entrepreneurs and the fact that Jibu is a solution to water problems in the community. His brother set up his franchise in Seeta while he set up his in Ntinda.

A loan will allow Ian to deliver more water to his community and reduce on the costs incurred by hiring other expensive means of transportation. This will save him from having to build up a capital base from his own profits, which would slow his potential for growth.

The loan will be repaid from his profits, with all payments projected to be made as scheduled.
