Regina's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy farm inputs such as hybrid seeds and nutrient-rich fertilizers in order to increase her yields and get a bumper harvest to sell, which will improve her living standards.

Regina's story

Regina is a 32-year-old mother of four children who is very determined to succeed and always desires to give the family a solid reputation. She lives in Limuru, a town whose surroundings have vast agricultural potential with numerous small farms and also vast agricultural enterprises. Like many other farmers in the region, she has been planting maize as a staple crop for as long as she can remember. Over time, the fertility of her land has started to dwindle, and the maize yields go down with each season. Regina’s farm has also been affected by weeds.

In the modern world, agriculture has become exceedingly dynamic, making the kind of inputs that are being used in the sector today advanced. On this note, there is a need to use improved farming inputs for effective production.

Today, Regina is requesting a loan from Juhudi Kilimo via Kiva lenders to buy farm inputs such as hybrid seeds and nutrient-rich fertilizers to improve her farm's output. With this loan, Regina will increase her crop production and this will improve her income. This loan will change Regina's living standards and there is no doubt that if you invest in her, 2020 will be a great year for her.
