Sita

Mrs. Sita M. is a tailor in the village of Bhakepati, Lalitpur. She opened her tailoring shop a few years ago to uplift the economic condition of her family. Before starting her own business she took six months training for tailoring work. Mrs. Sita M.’s specialty is making custom-fitted ladies dresses and school uniforms for both boys and girls. She prefers to make popular dresses like kurta sulwar (a pant and tunic outfit), blouses, ladies long dresses, makhshi, and others. Mrs. Sita M. lives with her husband and three children. She has two sons and one daughter, all of them now studying. She plans to use the loan to buy raw materials for her tailoring work. She wants to add to her family's income and support her children's education.
