Dios Es Fiel Group's story

Karla is 39 years old, married, and a merchant. She has worked making and selling tortillas and nacatamales
[Nicaraguan tamales] for eight years. Her spouse is a security guard. She is the mother of three children and, in her free time, she likes to go to the church.

She used to work selling meat, but with the help of the loans granted by FUNDENUSE, she managed to establish her business selling tortillas and nacatamales. She works in the group methodology and is the member of the Dios es Fiel solidarity group with Reyna and María.

She asks FUNDENUSE for a loan to invest in the purchase of vegetables, clothing, and raw materials to make the tortillas and nacatamales so to increase her sales and, in the end, her income. Her next goal is to diversify her business with shoes and her future plan is to be able to have a stable business like a store.
