A loan helped to buy more inventory before the dry seasons and have sufficient stock of vegetables for sale.

Abishyizehamweneza 200 Group's story

Alphonsine is 38 years old, married and has three children. She lives socially in Kabarore community with her family. She is very committed to the wellbeing of her family; that is why she managed to educate all her children and she continues to work harder to improve the living conditions of her family.

Alphonsine sells vegetables, including tomatoes and onions, with 8 years’ experience in this field. She is constantly challenged with the lack of capital and the dry seasons that cause most of her suppliers to increase prices. Her lack of capital prevents her from reaching her sales targets and slows her business growth. So, because she wants to expand her business she is requesting this loan in order to buy more inventory before the dry seasons and have sufficient stock of vegetables for sale, so she can increase her sales and earn more revenue.

The profits from this loan will be saved and channeled into a farming business. Enthusiastically Alphonsine can now believe that her family living conditions are improving, and her business. Alphonsine is proud of her job.
