Kulum's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy livestock to increase her income from raising livestock.

Kulum's story

Kulum is 50 years old, married, and has a son. She has a high school education. Kulum is knowledgeable about the technical aspects of agricultural practices and knows how to properly manage her resources.

Since 2009, she has been raising livestock, which is the main source of income for her family. Thanks to Kulum’s hard work, she currently has two cows, two horses, and 15 sheep. She also has a 1.8 ha plot of land, where she grows beans.

To be able to further grow her farm, Kulum has applied for a 160,000 KGS loan at Bai Tushum Bank in order to purchase livestock, which would help her increase her income from raising livestock. Kulum is planning to invest that income to further grow her farm and build a large new house.
