Tresha's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped helps to provide capital necessary to increase our advertising budget, order additional startup inventory, and bring quality dance products to the community.

Tresha's story

My name is Tresha Nash and I have lived in Fairbanks, Alaska for 20 years. My husband is retired military and we now call this beautiful city home. I am the mother of 6 kids and 3 grandchildren, who all have all been involved in the dance and theater community here. Though there are over 8 dance studios in town, along with several aerial studios, and numerous school cheer teams, gymnastics clubs, and more, I have found it difficult to find the necessary dance attire locally. Living in Interior Alaska, means being a 5 hour drive (or a 1 hour flight) the next largest city, which can be a significant and expensive obstacle to overcome! I knew that there were others who also wanted to be able to find what they need, when they need it, rather than having to order on-line, or travel great distances to get it. With this in mind, I decided to go back to school to get my Applied Business degree, from the University of Alaska Community & Technical College, and open a retail dance and fitness wear store in my community.
