A loan helped to buy fruit destined for resale.

01_Slorong Group's story

This "banc villageois" was established in town in September 2008 and brings together these seven women who live in the same village. They are parents, friends, and maintain good relationships. They have repaid more than 10 loans on time. Their main business is retail.

The representative Madame Absa is 41 years old, on the right side of the photo with her hand raised. She is a married woman and the mother of five children of whom two are boys.

Madame Absa has a small business selling fruits that she stocks up on from wholesalers in the town market and resells at the village's bus station. She capitalizes on several years of experience in this sector of retail.

She is going to buy 1 load of watermelons, cases of mandarins, and bags of oranges that she will resell with good margins. She has a good customer base and moves her product easily.

With her profits, she plans to pay for her children's school fees and to increase her savings at the "banc villageois."
