01_Ngfc Group's story

This group is comprised of six brave women who belong to the [Banc Villageois], established in August 2008. They live in the same neighborhood and joined the group together due to ties of affinity and friendship. They have a good understanding of loans and have always paid their reimbursement on time. Their main business is trade.

Mrs. Khar, the person responsible, is 49 years old. She is standing on the right hand side, with her hand raised. She is married and mother of ten children, of which three are girls and all of them go to school. Mrs. Khar runs a business selling fabrics, shoes and various pieces of art, in her local trading center. She benefits from 20 years of experience.

She plans to use her loan to purchase traditional wraps [pagnes], shoes, pieces of art...which she will resell with a profit margin. Her business is doing well because her customers are mainly tourists. Her profits will enable her to manage her family's daily expenses, to increase her savings and diversify her business by sending her son to purchase other products from Europe.
