Mahbuba's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy more fabric in order to sew men's coats called "chapans” and increase her profit.

Mahbuba's story

This is Mahbuba. She is a returning borrower and she is thankful to Kiva lenders for supporting her to increase her profits and improve her living condition. She is 60 years old, married, and has three children.

She is a seamstress who sews and sells traditional men's coats called "chapans." She has been doing this work for more than 16 years. She is gradually developing her business.

Mahbuba wants to increase her working capital, which will allow her to attract more customers. She has requested a loan of 6,000 TJS, which she will use to buy fabrics to sew chapans to sell at the local market.

She is a returning borrower and has a positive credit history. She is asking for a loan for the 9th time through Kiva’s field partner IMON.
