Nena's story

Nena is 49 years old and married. She is glad that she still runs her piggery business. She has managed her piggery business for 28 years. Nena has ten sows that produce piglets. Through her business, she was able to send her children to school and finish their college education. She shared that her children are now helping her financially.

Now, her goal is to have enough savings for her family's future needs. She would like to borrow a loan of PHP 70,000 as additional working capital for the business. She will purchase bags of feed for the maintenance of her sows and piglets. Nena patiently manages the business because ever since it has been her only source of income, which gives her family a better way of living through the earnings, she has gained.
