Gulzhamal's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy livestock fodder and more livestock to increase her livestock-breeding income.

Gulzhamal's story

The 41-year-old Gulzhamal is married with three children. She has a secondary education, is versed in agricultural techniques, and knows how to use resources for their intended purpose. She has been raising livestock since 2010, and this is her family's main source of income. Thanks to Gulzhamal's hard work, her farm presently consists of six cows, a horse, 40 sheep, and a 0.52-hectare plot of irrigated land on which she grows melons and maize.

In order to develop her business further, Gulzhamal has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 200,000 som (KGS) to buy livestock fodder and more livestock. Her aim in this is to increase her livestock-breeding income. Gulzhamal is planning to put the income generated by the loan toward the ongoing development of her farm, to buy more land, and to complete the construction of her home.
