Tawah's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more locks, inches and other items to sell.

Tawah's story

Meet 45-year-old Tawah from Liberia. She is single with two children. Both of her children are working while attended school.

Tawah runs a business where she sells locks, inches and other items. She has dealt in this business for the past 14 years now and works 15 hours per day, 6 days a week. For the time being she has no problems in her business.

Tawah has requested this loan from BRAC Liberia, a Kiva field partner to purchase more locks, inches and other items to sell. She says that the income from this loan will help improve their standard of living.

In the future, she wants to become an international business woman and continue sending her child to school. She says thanks and gives appreciation to BRAC and the Kiva community for their support.
