Emmanuel's story

Emmanuel is married and lives in Kagadi District. He has eight children, four of whom attend school.

For the last sixteen years Emmanuel has grown coffee, beans and maize plus sugarcane. He also gets income from cattle fattening to make a living. He was inspired to do agriculture by the availability of fertile soils in the area that are suitable for both crop and animal production . While these are his main economic activities, he also deals in agro produce buying and selling business of cereals like maize and beans for extra income. However, he faces the challenge of limited capital to buy stock and the seasonality of his businesses.

Emmanuel is requesting a loan to buy more bags of maize and beans to sell. He has hopes of educating all of his children to higher levels.
