A loan helped to buy feed and vitamins for his pigs.

Gerald's story

Gerald is a 24-year-old piggery owner from Zaragoza, Nueva Ecija. He is single and focused on managing his business. For about 4 years, he has been engaged in a piggery business wherein he sells pigs to local butchers.

Gerald has been a good standing borrower and client of Alalay sa Kaunlaran (ASKI) Inc. for about 3 years. Through his recent loan, he has the opportunity to maintain his piggery business and sells healthy pigs to a butcher.

Gerald has been granted again a loan amounting to PHP 70,000 under the agricultural loan program of ASKI. His loan will be used to buy feed and vitamins for his pigs.

Gerald's dream is for the expansion of his piggery business and to have a meat processing shop. He believes that with the help of ASKI and Kiva lenders, his piggery will expand.
