Karelis Daniela's story

Karelis Daniela is 19 years old. She's a young, single entrepreneur who lives with her parents in the municipality of Soledad. She started her clothes-making business because she learned to do it as a small child. The art of sewing was passed down to her from her mother and grandmother. She had support from her mother who makes clothes for a living.

She joined her intellect and commercial skills with her work and put a sales room in her house to sell articles of clothing. She sells things like blouses, dresses, shirts, skirts, and pants.

Her main customers are relatives, friends, neighbors, other people she knows, and external customers from the web page where she sells most of her products.

She is currently applying for a Kiva loan, the first funding she's sought through the Mario Santo Domingo foundation. She wants to invest in fabric, thread, buttons, zippers, interfacing, etc.

Karelis hopes that her business will be strengthened along with her working capital, increasing sales. Her main goal is to grow, design, and make clothing of her own brand to reach a great quality of life. Support her. She will be successful with her new business idea.
