Matumaini Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy cassava flour and corn in bulk.

Matumaini Group's story

Madame Faida is a client of the microfinance institution Hekima and head of the banque villageoise Matumaini. She is 44 years old, married to a carpenter, and has 6 children who are all in school.

Faida sells cassava flour and corn. She started her business 15 years ago with startup funding from Hekima's loan program, and her business has grown progressively. With this new loan, she will purchase cassava flour and corn in bulk, which will strengthen her capital. Her business's main challenge is related to unpaid debts.

She would like to care for her family and for all of her children to go to school. Faida would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they give to non-bankable entrepreneurs.

The clients prefer to have their children in the photo.
