A loan helped to buy livestock feed and to buy a horse to increase her income from raising livestock.

Zhamilya's story

Zhamilya is 41 years old, married, and has three children. She has a secondary education and works as a nurse. She is familiar with agricultural technology and knows how to invest as directed. Since 2005, she has been involved in animal husbandry as an additional source of income for her family.

Thanks to her hard work, her farm currently has 8 cows, 20 sheep, and 0.675 hectares of irrigated land where she grows corn. In order to further develop her farm, Zhamilya applied to Bai-Tushum Bank for a loan in the amount of 200,000 KGS to purchase livestock feed and livestock so that she can increase her revenue from raising animals. Zhamilya plans to invest the revenue from the loan in the further development of her farm, spending it on the purchase of seed and fertilizer for the coming spring.
