Kigunda Group 2, Rukungiri's story

T. Joseph is a hardworking and devoted man. He is 38 years old and married with three children aged 15, 13 and 9 years (2 boys and 1 girl) and all in primary school. Joseph has a grocery business where he grows and sells fruits and vegetables like cabbages, dodo (leafy greens of the amaranth plant), oranges and so on and sells to traders in the markets as well as sometimes selling the produce in the markets himself. Joseph has been in the business for three years and he is grateful that his business is growing tremendously, partly due to his hard work and partly with the help of loans. Joseph needs a loan to be able to buy more fertilizer and high-quality seedlings for business improvement.
