Karla's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy merchandise including new and used clothing.

Karla's story

Karla is a young 25-year-old entrepreneur. She is currently a single mother of a three-year-old girl and is a merchant. She lives at her mother's house and in her spare time she likes to dance. Because of the loan she was awarded six years ago, she managed to start a clothing business and a small grocery store in her home. She has made a living for the past seven years through commerce.

With her previous Kiva loan, she managed to secure a small section in the market for selling used clothing. This allowed her to increase her sales and income, so she decided to only keep her used clothing business, which is already generating good profits. This loan has helped her greatly in improving her quality of life.

She is requesting another loan through FUNDENUSE, her second Kiva loan, to purchase new and used clothing to take advantage of the upcoming high season. Her next goal is to be able to diversify her business by including cosmetic sales. Her future plan is to be able to build her own home since she is living in her mother's home.
