Susan's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy items like chips, canned goods, noodles, bread, condiments, and bottled drinks for her store.

Susan's story

Susan is an outstanding 55-year-old resident of Palayan City, Nueva Ecija. She is happily married to Bonifacio and they are blessed with five children who are still pursuing their studies. She has been engaged in a variety store in front of their house, selling basic commodities for almost 17 years. She has been a good borrower-client of Alalay sa Kaunlaran (ASKI) Inc. for about 13 years. Her recent loan this year was used for housing improvement.

Susan has been entrusted with a loan amounting to 60,000 PHP under the business loan program of ASKI. Her loan proceeds will be used to purchase additional items for her store, such as chips, canned goods, noodles, bread, condiments, and bottled drinks, to earn more income.

Susan's dream is for her family to have a better home to settle in and for them to have a better future. She believes that with the help of ASKI and Kiva lenders, it will come true.
