Geiner's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy wood.

Geiner's story

Geiner is 52 years old and lives in the city of Cartagena. This micro-entrepreneur started his business because he had gained experience and knowledge at a previous job. Later, with some savings that he had, he began purchasing the necessary machinery. He continually invested his earnings back in his business, and he was eventually able to secure contracts with hotels and builders. That was how he gradually expanded his business.

He opened his workshop in 2000. In it he produces all kinds of home furnishings, including furniture, kitchens, doors, windows, wooden closets, etc. His main customers are passers-by, friends, neighbors, family members, and referrals.

He is now applying for a Kiva loan, his first financing through the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo, which he will invest in the purchase of wood. Geiner is very satisfied with his business because it has provided him with economic stability that gives his family security. Support him in his business loan—it will be a success.
