Mario Alberto's story

Mario Alberto is a small business entrepreneur who is 26 years old. He lives in the municipality of Soledad. This entrepreneur entered the business of selling varied merchandise by means of his father, who taught him. He later inherited the business.

Mario is a merchant who understands the importance of technological tools. He uses and takes advantage of this innovative means of selling his products, which has generated excellent results and benefits for him. His main clients are internet users, friends and family members and others referred to him, and neighbors from his area and adjacent neighborhoods. He offers very diverse products, including toys, clothes, shoes, and household items, among other things.

He wants to expand his portfolio of products on offer, and that's why he has applied for a first Kiva loan through the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo. He will invest the loan proceeds in the purchase of merchandise such as toys, bicycles, clothes, and footwear. This investment will enable him to expand the range of products he sells and to respond in a timely way to requests made during the December season.
