Hawa's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more clothes to sell.

Hawa's story

Hawa, born in 1997and the mother of two schoolgoing children, would do anything to give her family happiness and see her children graduate from school. She has endured the challenges she has faced in life for the success of her family. She puts hours of hard work and dedication into her business, where she sells clothes. She has had six years of business experience. Due to this, she is not facing any problem with her business.

In order to always have quality goods, she has applied for a loan with BRAC Liberia, Kiva's field partner. The loan will be used to buy more clothes to sell. The income she makes from selling is used to meet the basic needs of her household.

Her dream is to continue sending her children to school and to build a house. She says thanks and sends appreciation to BRAC and the Kiva community for their support.
