Louise's story

Greetings from Liberia. This is 35-years-old Louise, who is living together with her partner and four children; all of her children live at home while schooling.

Louise is a hardworking business woman who sells roasted meat. She started this business after receiving financial help from her partner, and her mother taught her the trade. Louise has been doing this business for five years. She describes herself as a strong business woman. She uses a car to transport supplies to her business site. She has no problems with her business. Louise enjoys selling, because her business helps her family a lot.

To add to her business, she requested a loan through BRAC Liberia and Kiva to buy more ingredients that will be used to prepare roasted meat to sell, in order to repay her loan and increase her business.

In the future, she wants to become a big business woman and build houses. She says thanks to BRAC and to Kiva.
