Esther's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy more charcoal, oil and bread to sell.

Esther's story

Meet Esther, 30 years old. She lives with her partner along with two children; their ages are 10 and 18 years old. Both of her children are staying in school and live at home.

Esther deals in a business of selling charcoal, oil and bread. She has been operating her sales for three years now and describes herself as a hardworking business woman. She learned how to sell from her mother, and started to sell with some funds from her sister. She sells Monday through Saturday.

She has asked for a loan through BRAC Liberia, a Kiva field partner. She plans to use the loan to buy more charcoal, oil and bread to sell to her regular customers. She likes her business because it gives her more profits each day she sells, and she is proud of her business because it provides her basic needs.

Her dream for the future is to have money in order to continue her children's education. Esther says thanks to BRAC and the Kiva community.
