Gulzhamal's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy land for growing watermelon and to buy feed for her livestock during the winter months.

Gulzhamal's story

Gulzhamal successfully paid off her previous loan. She is thankful to Kiva and to everyone who helped her financially. She currently has five cows and 30 sheep on her farm as well as 0.5 hectares of irrigated land where she grows watermelon.

With the goal of further developing her farm, Gulzhamal has again approached Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 160,000 KGS to buy land to increase her income from growing watermelon, and to buy livestock feed for the winter months. She plans to put income from the loan into buying livestock, and partially into saving toward buying a house in the city.
