Rosalina's story

Rosalina is a 58-year-old businesswoman from Lourdes, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija. She is happily married to Daniel and blessed with three children who are still pursuing their studies.

She has been engaged in a sari-sari (general store) business for almost 27 years, selling soft drinks, chips, bread, and candies.

Rosalina has been a good client of Alalay sa Kaunlaran, Inc. (ASKI) for about four years. She again has been granted a loan of 60,000 PHP under the business loan program of ASKI. Her loan proceeds will be used to buy additional goods to sell, including eggs, condiments, cigarettes, frozen goods, etc. to generate more income to support her family's daily needs.

Her dream is to expand her business and to create more opportunities. Rosalina believes that with the help of ASKI and Kiva lenders, it will come true.
