Milencia's story

Milencia is a good resident of Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija. She is 40 years old and happily married to Rodel. They are blessed with four children who are still pursuing their studies.

Milencia has been engaged in managing a sari-sari store selling chips, bread, canned goods, noodles, and other items for almost 11 years. She has been a good borrower-client of Alalay sa Kaunlaran (ASKI) Inc. for almost two years.

Milencia has been entrusted with a loan amounting to 30,000 PHP under the business loan program of ASKI. Her loan will be used to buy additional items like candy, rice, condiments, soap, cigarettes, and other items to sell to generate more income to sustain the needs of her family.

Milencia's dream is for her family to have a better future. She also wants to expand her business. She believes that with the help of ASKI and Kiva funders, she will be successful in life.
