Nurzhan's story

Nurzhan is 46 and married with five children. She has a high school education and works as a nurse. She is a hardworking, purposeful and entrepreneurial person who has been working in animal husbandry since 1999 as an additional source of income for her family. She has a good understanding of the technical aspects of running an agricultural business and knows how to manage a budget. Thanks to her hard work and responsible approach to her tasks, she has been able to develop her farm to having eight cows, 20 sheep and two horses as well as 1.56 hectares of irrigated land where she grows clover.

With the goal of further developing her farm, Nurzhan has approached Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 218,000 KGS to buy dairy cows to increase her sales of organic milk and her income from raising livestock. She plans to put income from the loan into further developing her farm and renovating her house.
