A loan helped to purchase more cream of wheat, milk, sugar, and other items to sell.

Margretta's story

Meet 40-year-old Margretta from Liberia. She is married with 3 children. Her children are currently attending school while living at home.

Margretta deals in a business that sells cream of wheat, milk, sugar, and other items. She has been in this business for the past 6 years now and works 15 hours per day, 6 days a week. She has had no problems with her business.

Margretta requested this loan from BRAC to purchase more cream of wheat, milk, sugar, and other items to sell. She says that the extra income from this loan will help take care of her family and educate her children. In the future, she wants to continue sending her children to school, and she wants to build a shop.

She sends her thanks and appreciation to the BRAC and Kiva communities for their support.
