Gulira's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy a dairy cow to increase her cattle headcount and sales of organic milk.

Gulira's story

The 34-year-old Gulira is married, with a daughter and three sons. College-educated, she works in a kindergarten and is industrious, goal-oriented, and enterprising by nature. She is well familiar with agricultural techniques and knows how to use resources for their intended purpose. To supplement her family's income, she has been raising livestock since 2008. Thanks to her hard work and responsible approach, she has been able to develop her farm, so that it now consists of three cows, 15 sheep, two horses, and a 0.74-hectare plot of land on which she grows beans.

In order to develop her business further, Gulira has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 60,000 som (KGS), to buy a dairy cow. Her goal in this is to increase her sales of organic milk and her livestock-rearing income. Gulira's plans are to put the income generated by the loan into developing her farm yet further and to build a big new house.
