A loan helped to buy ground beef, bread, soft drinks, water, fish, plantain chips, and other items for her business.

Dalia Margarita's story

The city of Portoviejo was affected by the earthquake that occurred on April 16 of 2016. This is a city that is rich in the production of tropical fruits and vegetables for domestic consumption.

Dalia Margarita, 57, is separated and has 4 grown children who are independent. She lives in her own house. She has a snack bar set up in her house where she sells every day. She sells a variety of products in the afternoons and evenings. At times, her daughter helps with the business, but mainly it is Dalia who prepares the food and serves the customers. She makes hamburgers, fish stew, baked fish with plantain chips, and salad. She also sells soft drinks and water, and through advance orders she sells fish ceviche, which she prepares and delivers to people's homes.

With this new loan, Dalia will buy ground beef, bread, soft drinks, water, fish, plantain chips, and other items. Her dream is to have good health and see her business grow.
