Simao's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy grains and veggies from small farmers in his community to sell in order to increase his family income.
Simao is a 49-year-old Mozambican man. He lives in Nkhame, Tete Province with his wife and their seven lovely children. Simao is a very goals oriented person. He works hard to address the basic needs of his family, mainly of his children. He is passionate about agriculture and he is also a well known producer in his village. He has a network of 30 small farmers from whom he buys the crops to sell in the market. Thanks to iDE Project assistance, Simao was able to acquire a super tunnel to produce veggies more efficiently. Since the demand for crops is growing in a daily base, Simao needs to adjust his capability of production. Thus he needs to obtain more crops from small farmers from his community. For this reason, Simao is requesting a kiva loan to buy grains and veggies from small farmers in his community to sell in order to increase his family income.
