A loan helped to buy feed for her piglets and containers for her vinegar.

Rocelyn's story

Rocelyn is 48 years old, married and has five children; one is an adult and four of them are still dependents.

To earn an income for the family, she runs various businesses like hog raising, vinegar selling and farming. She has been in these businesses for many years.

Aside from farming, her husband also has a vulcanizing shop.

She now requested the amount of PHP 7,000 through Kiva’s field partner CEVI, a microfinance NGO in the Philippines, which she will use to buy feed for her piglets and containers for her vinegar.

Rocelyn aspires to improve these businesses in the future for her children’s education.
