01_Khdiama Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped to buy chicks for poultry farming and various products for resale.
01_Khdiama Group's story
Diama is 46 years old and the group's representative; she's on the right of the photo with her hand raised. She is married and mother of seven children including four boys; all go to school. She works in poultry farming and has a chicken farm at home; she also sells various sanitary products and millet porridge. She has a good five years' experience in these two sectors.
With her loan she will buy 150 chicks, 10 sacks of poultry feed, pay for vaccinations, and resell the chickens after 45 days or two months. She will buy five boxes of liquid soap, 10 sacks of millet, two bags of sugar, and two sacks of charcoal. She is doing well because she sells her products in the neighbouring villages.
Her profits will enable her to build up her savings, to contribute to household expenses, and to manage the small needs of her children.
