Gnoupangagnon Group's story

Ousmane is the man holding the sheep, in the company of the members of his group. He is married and the father of five children between the ages of one and eleven, with the youngest not yet attending school. He is a farmer by profession and has been breeding cattle for more than five years. His wife is a housewife who is responsible for doing housework, farm labour and taking care of the children. He usually buys the animals from local markets and resells them at the same markets with a profit margin of 35,000 West African CFA francs per head during the dry season.

He has turned to RMCR for a loan in order to increase his ability to breed and sell animals. His dream is to provide for his children's school-related needs so they may advance in their studies, as well as to build a permanent house for his family. According to Ousmane, RMCR is an opportunity for poor farmers to turn their lives around.
