Eliza's story

Eliza is 36 years old, married, and has 2 daughters. She has a secondary education; she is hardworking, purposeful, and enterprising. She knows well agricultural technologies and is able to invest as intended. As the main income for her family, she has been rearing livestock since 2004. She sells organic milk and grows barley and potatoes. Thanks to her hard work and responsible approach to business, she was able to develop her farm to 4 cows, 11 sheep, and 3 horses. She also farms crops, and has 2.20 hectares of irrigated land on which she grows potatoes, barley, and alfalfa. To further develop her farm, Eliza applied to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 120,000 KGS to purchase dairy cows in order to increase sales of organic milk and income from livestock breeding. Eliza plans to invest the income from the loan in the further development of her farm and plans to invest part of the proceeds in her daughters' education.
