A loan helped to buy noodles, biscuits, canned foods, tea and mixed goods for her general store business.

Tracy's story

Tracy is a 26 year-old woman who is married with one child and they live in a community outside Honiara, capital of Solomon Island. She runs a small general store business selling food items such as rice, noodles, biscuits and tea in her community to earn a living. She has been in this business for four years.

Tracy has requested a loan to pay for additional noodles, biscuits, canned foods, tea and mixed goods to increase her stocks and assist her in running her business. She plans to use her profits to meet her family's weekly expenses and grow her business.

She joined SPBD in 2019 to gain access to financial services and this is her first loan.
