Rosa Mirian's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy products like corn, cheese, beans, fried pork and other basic inputs for selling tortillas and pupusas.

Rosa Mirian's story

Rosa is a mother of 5 children. She is married and lives with her husband and 3 of their children. The other 2 children are independent and live abroad.

Rosa has a business of making and selling tortillas and pupusas (stuffed tortillas). She started it several years ago without having any academic preparation to do so. Rosa sells tortillas every day and pupusas during 3 days of a week, however depending on the season she occasionally prepares them during more than 3 days.

The loan she is asking for will be used to buy products like corn, cheese, beans, fried pork and other basic inputs for selling tortillas and pupusas. The investment will provide Rosa with the opportunity to strengthen the business and consequently she will be able to improve her sales and gain a higher income. In this way Rosa will be be able to expand the business, repay her loans and support her family financially.

Her dream is to help her husband with the costs of raising their children, and that they can have a better nourishment, education and clothing.
