Ararati Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to stock up on fried fish in bulk, to increase her initial capital.

Ararati Group's story

Madame Pelagie is a client of IMF Hekima and is the president of the banque villageoise “Ararati”. She is married, 47 years old, and the mother of 9 children. Her children all go to school. Her partner is a civil servant.

She sells fried fish. She started her business 10 years ago with starter funds from her husband. Later, she chose the Hekima program to support her business, through which she gradually improved.

With this new loan, she is going to stock up on fried fish in bulk, to increase her initial capital. The challenges with her work are linked to a lack of customers. She would like her children to go to school and she wants to feed her family.

Lastly, she wishes to thank Hekima and their partners for the support given to business owners with no monetary value. The borrowers would prefer to be with their children in the photo.
