Kûukpier's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy 7 balls of yarn, 20 kg of tints and to save to look after her family.

Kûukpier's story

Kûukpier is the mother of three children, all of whom go to school. As a weaver, for the past seven years, she has been weaving high-quality traditional wraps at her home in a neighbourhood on the outskirts of the capital. She is in her fifth loan cycle with the IMF YIKRI and she has repaid her first KIVA loan without difficulty.

She is again applying for a loan to buy 7 balls of yarn and 20 kg of tints that will allow her to strengthen her stock of traditional wrap fabric. From these profits she wants to grow her business and save to take care of her family.

Finally, she thanks YIKRI and its partners for the support given to non-bankable entrepreneurs. Thanks to YIKRI's loans, she manages to save to take care of her family.
