A loan helped to buy more food for her chickens and fertilizers to improve her growing.

Luz Fanny's story

Luz is 58 years old and lives in the municipality of Urrao. She’s a widow woman who has six children. She hasn’t had an easy life since losing her husband, which was the hardest thing she has ever had to go through, but she’s been strong for her family and she’s very proud of what she has accomplished.

Luz always wanted to be independent and to have her own business. She made that dream come true with hard work and sacrifice, and now she’s very motivated. She works raising chickens and as a farmer. She’s very talented at this, and that’s why she’s been doing well.

Luz lives in a post-conflict zone so it hasn’t been easy, but she’s brave and resilient. She’s asking for a loan to buy more food for her chickens and fertilizers to improve her growing.
