Tumaini Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to get bulk supplies of various products (including cornflour, oil, rice, etc) which will strengthen her initial capital.

Tumaini Group's story

Georgette is a partner of the Hekima MFI and leader of the banc villageois "Tumaini". She is married, 51 years old, and mother of eight children who are all in school; her partner is a carpenter.

She sells various products in her shop, having founded this business nine years ago with start-up funds from her husband. Later, she worked with the Hekima programme to support her business, and over the course of this she has progressively developed.

With this new loan, she will get supplies of various products in bulk, including cornflour, oil, rice, etc, which will build on her initial capital. The challenge in this work is related to the lack of customers.

She would like her children to go to school and to renovate her home. Lastly, she wishes to thank Hekima and partners for their support of non-bankable business owners. One client prefers to have her child in the photo.
