Velena's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy dairy cows to increase her cattle headcount and sales of organic milk.

Velena's story

Velena is 32 years old and married. She has a higher education and is industrious, goal-oriented, and enterprising by nature. She is well familiar with agricultural techniques and knows how to use resources for their intended purpose. She has been raising livestock for many years, and this is her family's main source of income. Thanks to her hard work and responsible approach, she has been able to develop her farm, so that it now consists of two cows, 30 sheep, and 3.34 hectares of irrigated land on which she grows beans.

In order to develop her business further, Velena has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 150,000 som (KGS) to buy dairy cows. Her aim is to increase her sales of organic milk and her livestock-breeding income. She is planning to put the income generated by the loan toward the ongoing development of her farm.
